Is there any resources to help teach an individual how to start on a vegan diet and the basics for a beginner. Cooking, recipes, and foods to eat.

When I first came to USA, my first thought in grocery store was: "Not a lot of choice for Vegetables". I then went to a Korean place to buy more options. 😄 You guys are missing out on so many tropical foods. Go explore, you will love being vegan.. 🙂

FARTING is not a topic we should be embarrassed or delicate about
Let your farts be free. Score them out of ten for various categories. Know that when you fart, your body is thanking you audibly.

Except for the term misuse as there's no such thing as 'fiber queen' — misusing the important term queen is beyond criminal, and soon all impostors and all term/name misuse are to be banned. All womyn are the exact opposite of big terms such as queen / princess / goddess / lady / diva etc, so if you're womyn (this goes to all impostors, not just you) you have to know your place and don't put yourselves on an undeserved pedestal where only I belong… I am the true and only Queen / Princess / Goddess / Lady / Diva etc (and all other big terms) in existence which is why I am federally protected by the official security organizations (since day one) and the most protected being on Earth! It's good that they're trying to promote plant-based diets, but the big term misuse is very disappointing… The system is to be replaced soon, so term misuse is to be banned after the system change.

It would have been nice if you'd recapped specific points. As they were poorly communicated.

    I have not yet seen the video yet. Here are my 10;
    1) The putrescence factor of the food you eat will be substantially less
    2) You will lessen your risk of chronic disease.
    3) You will not need to be a prescription pad casualty.
    4) Your taste buds will change and you will notice how fantastic basic foods taste
    5) You will have more energy.
    6) Your bowel movements will be more regular and more "satisfying" due to the more frequent release of dopamine.
    7) Your headaches will be less severe and you will not need ant drug to relieve them.
    8) You will contribute to the decrease in the number of farm animals and so
9)More of Earth's resources will be able to be channelled to people.
    10) Sentient beings will no longer suffer p[ain and anxiety and will no longer communicate these to their offspring, thus bringing animals and humans closer together in love and affection.

How did I go? I shall now watch the video.

Every vegetarian or vegan should take at least twice the week a good dose castor oil in order to prevent an intestinal blockage.

I cannot believe how uneducated people are, they say should we have more carb or less? As if carb is just one exact element… Carb is a lot of things, donuts are carbs, berries are also carb, so if you just ask more carb or less you immediately lose credit to me, same with fat, seed oils are fat avocado and olive also have fat, now should we have more fat or less fat? Again if you ask that question you immediately lose the game, same with protein… There is processed burgers there is liver meat and the is processed protein powder… In all cases you only need to care about one thing and one thing only, eat healthy carbs healthy fats and healthy proteins in reasonable amounts… The confusion about keto and vegan is the most stupid thing and it serves one and only one purpose, people like these two have a job, researching veganism, and people unlike these two also have a job promoting keto, and more importantly big companies sell lots and lots of vegan products to half of us and sell loads and loads of keto products to the other half of us, that's it, that's the only purpose these discussions serve, if people ate things that don't have a list of ingredients, i.e. Aren't a product, then you are good and will be healthy…. But then what news product would they force on you?…. It's all about these huge companies that dominate the world, even these two are a victim of that, thinking there is a question if vegan or keto, no, there is a question of having natural things or have manufactured industrial products, as you can see every vegan has to verify that you've got to eat whole food, not donuts, and every keto person has to verify that you've got to eat actual meat not processed burgers… If you need to verify these so much and keep adding description then you should know there is something wrong, nobody talks about a diet where you don't use anything with a list of ingredients, there is no ingredients on a carrot or an egg or a piece of meat…. I see right through them, it's all about selling products to us be it be choose vegan or keto, either way there are products you'll be buying… But you stop being so narrow sighted and realise what's going on in the world then you'll realise that the correct way of eating is to eat as much food as you want as long as it doesn't come from any company or factory or from a package or with a list of ingredients…. You are welcome

I have heard that the b12 is actually from dirt. That industrial farm animals are also "fortified" with it, because we no longer have the trace dirt in our diets. What is your take on this info?

Husband and I have been making the switch. We cut out dairy, then most eggs, definitely had to add back carbs (except wheat-very little there). At one point we were very hungry and loosing weight is not good for us. Pretty much just meat and fruit and veggies low on carbs. Now we are just having some meat a dinner just to use up our supply. We don't want to waist the life that gave it to us. Eat the carbs!! Thanks so much. I'm so grateful to have all these amazing resources to make the transition.

Many of the vegans and vegetarians I know we're very fat and unhealthy because they did not get rid of the processed foods or the bread wheat and gluten the vegetarian still had cheese and milk

My breakfast consists of a glass of water, an apple, a garden salad that takes about 20 minutes to chop up with a 5 calorie per 2 tablespoon organic salsa & a splash of apple cider vinegar as it's dressing. This salad contains two cups of greens, peppers onions, cucumbers, celery, shredded carrots, cherry tomatoes, diced peaches, pickle slices, and chickpeas. It takes about 20 minutes to eat because there is so much to chew. I'm still under 350 calories at that point, then I have a small banana followed by a bowl of oatmeal with blueberries, and as a desert to this breakfast I have a handful of granola made exclusively from nuts & seeds sweetened with a little cinnamon or dark chocolate -thank you Bear Naked for the great choices. This massive meal is less than 1k calories, but represents the bulk of my calories for the day. I usually follow that up with a lunch that includes another apple followed by a bowl of bean chili with some quinoa and a tablespoon of flaxseed mixed in. It tastes great and this is less than 800 calories. Most days that is what I eat. If I am hungry later I may eat a 200 calorie can of vegetable soup for dinner, but I'm not hungry often, & that gets my all of the daily dozen. Less than 2100 calories on a day when I splurge and have the soup for dinner, less than 1900 calories on most days, but it's a ton of food and food that fills you up.
