    We're knife twins! I'm all about a santoku. At work I use knives from the Thai grocery store. They're a little bigger than a santoku (but not chefs knife big, I hate chefs knives) and the blade is thin but you can get them soooo sharp. Also they're like $2.99. The only problem is every time I go to get a new one I have to spend $50 on fancy ramen and moon cakes. 😜

    I feel the same way about knives! I have 1 special one I spent a fortune on and keep that baby sharp!! xo

    sooooo agree with you about not dirtying too many dishes. it's such a relief to finish cooking and have your cleanup mostly completed already! and wowww thanks for the reminder to sharpen my knives πŸ˜…

    My family and I have been cooking more vegan meals at home with the intention of transitioning to a plant based lifestyle. We made the Shepard's Pie, a cauliflower fried rice, butternut squash soup, lentil tacos, and chia pudding so far. We're all pretty impressed with it.πŸ’ƒ The kids struggle with the plant milks but other than that it's been a big success.

    * Also our first grocery bill was so much higher 😬. Do you guys buy specialty items like matcha, nutritional yeast, vegan protein powders, or anything like that?
