EXTREME Budget Grocery Challenge! Cheap Vegan Meals ($0.50 PER MEAL)

Going vegan is high-priced, appropriate? This week, I challenged myself to an severe grocery price range problem where by I only expended $40 on groceries for my relatives of 4. That indicates each person experienced to survive on $10 really worth of foods for all their major meals for an full 7 days (considerably less than $.50/meal). Back links to the recipes for each and every meal can be found below ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️

Also, if you might be tremendous observant, you’ll detect I say tofu is $2.50 at the incredibly commencing of the video clip and $.50 afterwards in the video. The $2.50 was a typo and it truly is genuinely $.50 for every block in this article! Mad!

It gets expensive if you buy a lot of vegan replacement items (like me, my grocery bill is insane bc I need my Just egg/beyond sausage/etc lol) I wonder if that's the complaint people have? But it really can be so simple to eat inexpensively and eat good!

It was a big investment up front, but worth it…. 20 years ago, we bought a wheat grinder (it does all grains) and a Bosch. These two quality items have saved me thousands and thousands of dollars. Not only for feeding our family, but our friends and family ask us to make them homemade whole wheat bread instead of buying them a gifts.

For our young poor family, we decided that instead of going out to dinner or movie on date night, we would go on walks together (sounds lame, I know). After we saved the money, I got the appliances for Mothers Day.

A great video, especially the final comments about having to put more time in. It's convenience foods that cost the most!

Wow it all looks amazing. So interesting to see prices. Your groceries are almost half the price more most things than they are in Canada.

Have loved your videos for a while. Nevertheless, this time all I saw was packaging, plastic bags, packaging and more packaging. Your recipes and prep are absolutely amazing. I see how careful and conscientious your approach is but not very thoughtful when it comes to plastic waste. 😢
