    Hi Amanda. I went vegan for 6 months and I don't think I did it correctly because I ended up with a severe vitamin b12 deficiency where I ended up needing b12 injections weekly!

    The chocolate is what is probably making you feel bad bc it is bad for acid reflux. The watermelon is the best thing to eat when you have upset like that but everybody is different

    I would like to eat more raw foods but … I prefer salty taste over sweet. And fridge space is something which I don't have. So I would like tips on that. Thanks. 🙂

    Great video and experiment but I need a combination of cooked and raw vegan whole plants foods. I have also heard that the raw vegan whole plants foods diet is more expensive so I can't afford to do it longterm.

    i always ad chia, hemp and linseeds to my smoothies. Very filling.. Also as a raw vegan of 5 years your calories are extremely low. Just an example for breakfast I had 300 grams of banana, 200 grams spinach, raw vegan protein powder, table spoon of chlorella, chia, hemp and linseeds and 3 cups of my fresh almond milk. Use cronometer and make sure you get what you really need. It is so damn important.

    Loved the video by the way!!, pretty sure the breakout on day 5 might have been a detox symptom as the body will have more vitality and also since you eat a lot of nuts and seeds you might want to think about soaking/activating them as this will make them digest sooooo much easier and they will taste creamier, hope this helps

    All people can thrive on a raw vegan diet. It's human's natural diet. It's absurd to say it is not suitable for some people or cooked would be better. Now, the reason that people won't feel good on sush a diet, is stated by naturopathy. Raw vegan diet, is by far the most detoxifying – healthy diet a person can do. Therefore, on the journey of someone claiming his health back, there would be symptoms or side effects of detoxification. Of course some will deny this and say fruits and vegetables are ''bad'' for the human. Food addictions can make people delusional.

    Oh Em Gee! My heart was breaking for you! You went into this pretty ill prepared. I was wondering if you would ever try it again, after researching it a bit more? I am definitely a savory food person. I don’t know if I could have made it a week, on the amount of fruit and smoothies that you were doing and lack of savory food. LOL

    Going on a diet.. so here's my meal plan, tell me if it's not efficient enough.

    Breakfast: 1 cup lemon water
    Lunch: 2 pears, green tea
    Dinner: 2-3 oranges, green tea

    Tuesday — same as Monday

    Breakfast: 1 cup lemon water
    Lunch: 1 sweet potato, green tea
    Dinner: coffee

    Thursday — same as Wed.

    Breakfast: lemon water
    Lunch: fruit salad, green tea
    Dinner: vegetable salad, green tea

    Saturday — same as Friday

    Breakfast: lemon water
    Lunch: coffee
    Dinner: 1 pear

    nice good job on the creative salads, milks and cheeses. we do those too sometimes. you can also make zoodles and raw bread with a dehydrator, then a pizza and banana cinnamon rolls of course 🙂

    Hello there! Fellow raw vegan here…. it's not the watermelon that made you go to the bathroom. It's all the fiber and nutrients you're now consuming. Going 3-5 times a day is completely normal.

    So cool love your video I am a 16 year old fully raw vegan and must say that I had some bad break outs in the beginning- that was just my body cleaning out all the cooked food junk! Now my skin hair and nails have never felt better! I have to cut my nail every 4 days! and I can run faster then I ever have! Thanks for sharing

    Wow! You look so different in this video… filter? I hope not haha! I loath filters and don’t think anyone needs them- you are always beautiful within and without <3 also!     Watermelon should be eaten on an Empty Stomach and Nuts and seeds are better soaked.

    Amanda, that is so awesome that you were able to commit to the raw food diet for the duration!! I think my record is 2 days!! Lol…the cooked foods kept calling my name ; ) Btw…blending the cauliflower in a food processor (vs. a blender) would have probably yielded a more consistent fine chop.

    Yes, it’s about feeling so energetic n good! N mind clarity!

    You need fruit or spicy spices like cayenne or ginger to keep the blood thinner.

    Too many nuts won’t make you feel your best.

    I would Switch fruit with so many nuts.
