Is a vegan diet safe for children?

Paul critiques mainstream resources that declare that a vegan diet plan could be risk-free for young children and asks Jon Venus what his own practical experience seemed like with his two small children (one particular becoming elevated vegan and the other not).

Thankfully, we are childfree by choice.

Of course, malnutrition resulting from the vegan ideology causes decreased libido, loss of menstrual cycle, – along with hair loss, bone and tooth degeneration, joint inflammation, muscle wasting, compromised immune system, mental health issues: food-obsession, judgmental hating of humanity, delusions of moral superiority; a wide spectrum of eating disorders, chronic digestive and complexion issues, fatigue, – the list goes on…

    These are irrefutable facts.

    Renounce this virtue-based self-mortifying cult.

Or inevitably mal-nourish yourself into infirmity.

    Now; or later.

    Or never.

    It is a choice.

NOOOOO. growing brains need lots of good fats and protein. breast feed as long as you can… breast feeding isn't easy at first…stick with it. have no regrets in the future…no vaccines and breast feed. you'll thank yourself.

Question on blackberries and rasberries, when i eat them they have it seems these tiny seeds. Are these seeds and unhealthy?

Also what are the most safe fruits to eat?

No! Anyone can do a search and find articles about how vegan parents fed a vegan diet to babies. The babies got sick or died from the vegan diet. A similiar search of children eating a carnivore diet produces no articles about children getting sick or dying from eating a carnivore diet. What does a vegen diet do to adults on the long term? Nothing good. Eat meat!

My wife is a vegetarian. I eat carnivore-ish. I like to focus on things we can both agree on: eat as natural as possible/ avoid processed foods, avoid sugar, avoid seed oils. She does eat eggs, cheese, yoghurt and butter.

Good on Jon for at least coming to a realization that something was wrong with the diet that he gave his kids and so he changed. Great job. I would think that children are quite resilient actually and they will continue to grow and achieve their maximum potential. We humans are survivors: our ancestral link has not been broken, our ancestors survived all the major cataclysms that occurred on this planet and I am sure that our genetics are that much stronger for it. Great video thanks for posting Dr Paul!

I knew a girl who grew up vegan and she clearly had stunted growth. So I would say NO

I intuitively would say NO, vegan is not safe for children. Thank you for this podcast Jon and Paul. Jon , you are an amazing person and I admire you for standing in your truth no matter the cost. I too lost my job/career of 24 years due to standing in my truth. I lost friends and have family members who have distanced themselves from me. But, I have also deepened relationships with others. Each day I wake up, I must make the decision to continue to walk in my truth as there is no other way to live. I am free. I am finding my way now, slow but sure- being patient as I step into new and better things. Although not easy at the beginning, there IS a brighter and more free-er future for all who make the commitment to themselves to walk in their truth. Much peace, love and gratitude to you and your family. Thank you again Paul for this video and podcast.

WebMD lost all credibility with me when I saw that they still pushed low-fat diets as recently as a couple of years ago, and still talk about the "dangers" of saturated far and dietary cholesterol.

Anyone thinking they're a carnivore, but drinking nipple juice after weening, eating cooked meat, eating hen periods must be completely disconnected from reality. No carnivore runs around sucking on bovine nipples and definitely do not drain the blood from their prey, and then have to cook and denature their food in order to "digest" it.

Would be nice if you can provide a video not based on anecdotes and theories.
