So excited to see you made zucchini mahshi! And equally excited that you stuffed a variety of vegetables! The filling is delicious and can be used to stuff just about any vegetable. I am so hungry right now from watching all those yummy dishes being prepared. Fabulous job cooking and I am curious to find out if your family liked all of the new cuisine? I appreciated your explanation on modesty. You are such a lovely soul. Have a blessed week! 😍💖

I cannot do almond milk so I will have to substitute it with a different non dairy milk. I hope it works lol. You have such a beautiful family Leah 💖💖💖You always make my day with your videos. I wish you posted everyday! Your a beautiful soul💜💜💜💜💜💜Oh by the way have you ever made tahini bread? If you ever do, please do a video on it. Much love and take care-Debbie

i don’t think you would see a salafi muslim guy walking around without wearing a shirt! my husband isnt even comfortable not wearing a shirt in our home! we also try to have our children dress modestly from age 2 and up like boys wear shorts down to their knees and girls wear dresses or skirts we follow the opinion that females shouldn’t wear pants unless if needed like if i go to hospital i wear a pair of my husband’s pants underneath my abaya that doesn’t show the shape of my body also i wear a niqab that doesn’t show my face and also a scarf my daughters do the same thing wear abaya and scarf and niqab i forgot to mention i also wear gloves 🧤!

This is my favourite topic! I love what you said about being a child of God and carrying yourself that way. Wow! How powerful!
Here I go with another life story 🤣🤣 So, a few years before stumbling upon the clip of you and Aylam talking about the 7 Laws (6 years ago actually!), I decided to try out dressing a bit more feminine and I began by committing to wearing a dress every day for the month of September. It also forced me to use all the dresses I kept in my wardrobe!
The consequence of doing that was enormous. I felt feminine, I felt pretty, I was SUPER COMFORTABLE and I just all around felt like myself. It came to the point where I asked my husbands opinion one morning should I wear a pair of jeans or a skirt and he said "the skirt, for sure!" And then I literally threw out the jeans and I have never ever gone back. I've been skirts & dresses since that September 😁
I find it very easy to buy clothing if I set rules for myself – cleavage, upper arms and knees covered. I find that style suits my body and personality too so that helps.

    Ok, life story over 🤣

My Jewish grandmother used to make two amazing stuffed foods: stuffed grape leaves (the filling is similar to Karen's stuffed zucchini) and paté au fromage, which are phylo dough triangles stuffed with an egg-cheese mixture. She would keep them in the freezer for when company came over. Shabbat shalom!

Great video! In my country we traditionally cook stuffed bell peppers exactly the same way you did it. Stuffed cabbage or grape leaves is more traditional for South or East Europe. Greetings to Israel!!!!

I love your story, motek. You're so creative. I'm not religious but I keep kosher, keep Shabbat and dress modestly and most of all, I love Hashem. You know what is so weird? I watched this video on Yom Rishon so didn't know what you made for Shabbat; I made chicken enchiladas for our 3rd meal on Shabbat. You're such a California girl!

So stoked to try some of this! Honestly as a man becoming Orthodox, it has been hard to give up my tank tops and unbuttoning my shirts way down. Feels really hilarious to say that out loud because it’s not something you typically hear men struggle with, but I appreciated the theme of this! You and your husband are a vibe-keep shining! I’m going on birthright this coming weekend, so excited to see our amazing homeland for the first time and your vids have def gotten me even more excited!
