How many grams of oats are you using, because when I have warm oats I use 40 grams and that's not a lot in the mason jar I've bought to start doing over night oats.

"y do u have one shoe on?!" not a parent but as an older sibling this took me back and had me in a fit!! anyway i love a good overnight oat! love these combos – like you said the possibilities are endless. and lets say u have an extra 5mins and want it warm, you can just microwave it for a min and you're set! for my pbj ones, i find it easier to use peanut powder and jam on top. for fat that you dont get from the peanut powder, ill add nuts or seeds if i want.

Would be nice to give measurements of ingredients

You could mix all you oat base & milk in a large bowl, transfer to each jar then add you flavours. Too much effort im mixing everything in the mason jar. Just a suggestion.

I’ve never eaten overnight oats. Do you warm it or eat it cold?

  • at 1:55 pm

Thank you for the recipes. Carrot cake overnight oats are my favorite. Add fine shredded carrots, cinnamon, pinch of nutmeg, a little vanilla, crushed dates and walnuts.

    Note to self:
Making it now with strawberries. No measurements; just eyeballed it.
Add lots of peanut butter and honey next time.
