    And after being hypoglycemic for 30 years and now being borderline diabetic, I now understand other ways of getting protein. And I also now know it could take two different items to create a sufficient amount of protein. πŸ˜‰
    But when I saw a dietitian 30 years ago, protein was described as being more meat. We've come a long way! And taking advantage of more food groups gives a better all around balance.
    I've never given up anything for Lent or been on a Daniel Fast and found that just trying to eliminate certain things from my diet only made me want them more.
    But what I have learned from you is not to take something away without replacing it with something else, something better.
    And I also see the adventure of meal planning and prepping. Especially when trying to get the right balance for yourself.
    So I need to get that balance to work for me.
    I think everyone has a plant based diet suggested at one time by their doctor. My sister-in-law actually tried a plant based diet but gained weight on it. Doctors don't really give good suggestions on how to accomplish this diet. So people trying it are just finding recipes for a couple of things and are packing on the weight because of no balance of foods to get the different elements needed to maintain fiber and protein and everything else.
    And I totally understand how important your role is for people trying to find their balance.
    But the best tool in this is knowledge. And that makes what you do invaluable.
    So thanks for all you do and thanks for sharing this knowledge with us! πŸ₯°

    I eat gluten free and kosher diet and 3 to 4 nights a week I eat vegetarian food . Being a Celiac its healthier . However , I dont need to lose weight .After I went gluten free 2 yrs ago I dropped 30 pounds and have kept it off . I have a very high metabolism . And I walk it off anyways cos I am always doing something . I dont have time to sit still long . If SUMBODY needs something dun , I help them get it dun . If U have time , I would like to see a few more gluten free recipes again that would be awesome thanks .
