In today’s episode we are going to see how to make Vegan pancakes. That means in this recipe, we won’t be using eggs or dairy products. It is also called as Banana dosa. Usually for banana dosa, we use rice flour or wheat flour. Instead, in this recipe we are using oats.

This is a quick and healthy breakfast and snack option for kids.

Ingredients:
Rolled oats – Instant or quick – 1 cup
Almond milk or any non dairy milk or regular milk – 1/2 cup
Ripe banana – 1
Ripe banana – 1/2 chopped for garnishing
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Cinnamon powder – 1/2 tsp
Flax seeds – 1/2 Tbsp
Maple Syrup – 2 tbsp and for garnishing
Any fruits (e:g – blueberries, strawberries, mango, banana) – for garnishing
Butter or ghee or oil – optional –

Method:
In a blending jar or mixer jar, add all the ingredients given above one by one. Blend them into a smooth, thick batter like consistency. Add little milk or water, if it doesn’t blend smoothly. Make sure the batter isn’t too watery or runny, then your pancakes won’t come out well.
Heat a pan. (I used a non-stick pan). Pour medium sized batter on the pan and allow them to cook for 2 mins on each side. Wait until bubbles are formed on the top side and then flip the pancakes. Make as many pancakes you want or until batter lasts. In a plate or bowl, stack the pancakes one by one. Top it with fruit of your choice. Pour generous amount of maple syrup and enjoy your pancakes!
