Got loads of vital wheat gluten in so might see what other delights I can make. Merry Christmas Gaz, hope you have a good one x

I just made the soup today. Really enjoyed it. I had to tweak it a bit since I can’t afford vanilla. So I used vanilla extract instead, half a cap and for the plant milk I used unsweetened almond milk with a hint of vanilla. Delicious, thank you. So glad I discovered you.

Just made the parsnip / vanilla soup. Tastes so delicious and is very filling. These days, being vegan is an amazing adventure to try a new an exciting way of cooking. Meat eaters don't know what they are missing. Gaz Oakley is the new Jamie Oliver and needs to be brought to ITV or Channel 4.

I love it! I'd use the immersion blender for the soup, so as not to wash too many items. I've never heard of "pea milk" before; you learn something new every day! Target sells it. I want to make your mozzarella (?) vegan cheese for the puff pastry filling. Also, what kind of butter are you using, and could I just use coconut oil to make the roux? I can't wait to make the faux smoked salmon.
