    My hat is off to you. I have tried many recipes. They almost always turn out the wrong texture and taste. This however was delightfully surprising in both taste and texture. The only thing I added in that was not in the recipe was some canned mushrooms because I had seen them added in another video. Turned out great, thank you for this recipe good sir.

    Sorry- but no vegan steak can possibly properly replicate a real “cow”- left alone a high quality cut of a high quality breed! This is the problems of vegans- they really lack comparison!
    I enjoyed only once in my life genuinely completely vegan food as a cuisine (Grassroots Hongkong)…

    A much better application for this technique would be a schnitzel (breaded escalope, katsu etc). Especially a Viennese Schnitzel is very thinly pounded- hence you have anyway not a ton of flavor of the protein (veal is also lighter in flavor).
